Well still working on my chaplain but I was getting bored so I have started a Lysander aswell.
The chaplain is nearing completion. Some tidying up to do, maybe a few more highlights to the staff freehand and then just the base.

The other mini is in the very early stages.

Talonicus: Your chaplain looks very good, and i´ll wait for lysander progress too.

I´ve finished the red dressed girl you´ve seen on previous photos. You can see it here,I´m sorry cause it´s a little disfocussed .I hope you like it

@Talonicus: Great job on the Chaplain, love the reflections, but something about the back of the big hand (powerfist? I\'m not a 40k person...) looks kind of off... maybe its the angle but I\'m not sure. Looks awesome otherwise, can\'t wait to see more.

@Talonicus- You chaplain is looking good. The technique is very interesting and quite original. However there are some spots on it that are not as well done as the others. The armor patch that is on his left arm that is closest to the chest needs more gradation. The right arm is perfectly done on the front. However the back of the right hand looks strange.

@Tidoco- I\'ve liked your other pieces better in the past... But it might be too soon to judge.

Here\'s the continued work on my Lelith.

Wow. I just looked through all 20+ pages. And I must say. There is some really beautiful paintings here.

Like I can honestly say 95% +- were very good to look at. I want to touch them all!

I think i\'m going to go paint now. :D

Nurgle Champion - WIP

I\'ve just gotten one of the two conversions I\'m working on to a point that I don\'t feel obligated to keep poking at it. Thought I\'d get it online for some feedback.

I left the image a bit large (200k) so I\'ll link rather than post:

The idea was actually inspired by comments about the Emperor\'s Children army I\'m working on. The \"gluttony\" champion, however, really seemed more Nurgle-esque as I got to working on him.

Feedback and suggestions are, as always, greatly appreciated. Thanks.

@MisterJustin- Yeah... That is definitely a Nurgle marine. Very nice job though.

This will be the last posting of this miniature in the WIP forums... So if you notice aspects of it that need work please do tell.

Nurgle Champion Update

Not much done yet in the way of painting. I\'ve done the base and the first round of highlights on the green parts of the armour. I\'m going to do the power armour in a dark green with a highlighted green trim -- possibly with some yellow or brown/orange \"gunk\" to round him out a bit.

Skin will get another wash of W&N \"Burnt Sienna\" ink and a brush of \"Rotting Flesh.\"

I\'d love suggestions on how to handle the horns on the helmet and arm. I\'ve also considered doing some Nurgle-eque tattoos - any thoughts?

Thanks again -- mr.j

My first Ultramarine

These are the legs of my first Ultramarine. I\'m thinking of adding battle damage, but i\'m not sure. Anyway, I\'d appreciate any comments. Thank you! :)

@HateTheState: I love his face, it really gives the mini character. The eyes are excellent and the face looks somewhat battered and brutal, which enhances the overall space wolf feeling. Really, really well done. ;)
