@talonicus

well im pretty sure the fist should have a higlight like the rounded parts of the backpack, more of a circle than a line, because the fist itself is rounded

as to the photo, it may very well be because it looks like the white highlight is too intense compared to other spot and looks like a line rather than a highlight, maybe it isnt, but it looks less blended into the greys(front leg specifically)

dont get me wrong though still looks great!

Starks:)

@simon

cant really see much of anything so cant comment

the green looks blended well but that could be the photo blurring it together

try better angles and better photos

@ Boysie: There\'s one thing that is standing out to my eye and that is the gap between the base and the model.
I believe that you need to fill that with a bit of green stuff to level it off and give the figure an allround complete look.
Otherwise the painting looks good. :)

Nurgle Champion - Part 3

Part three of my Nurgle Champion WIP. Probably about 20% finished with the painting at this stage and hoping for feedback. I think I\'m going to do the horns on his helmet in yellow. Still need to detail the armor (and flesh, yeesh!) but I\'m happy with the first round of highlights.

Also my first cork base - and something I\'ve already used again for another mini. Very happy working with cork!

Just a quick shot of the face and hat of the next mini that I am working on.... Don\'t bother judging any other portion of the mini... I\'ll be painting over it all.

Epstudios: I´like it a lot but I think that lips will see better more red coloured.

Here is my terminator, I hope it will be finished tomorrow afternoon.

@HateTheState : might be late for the comment but here goes : over all, excellent (face and scratch marks being the strong points), however, I think the gold could use deeper tones (a bit of Scorched Brown or Dark Flesh applied as a controled wash).

It´s not too late:D, I´ve changed it just a few minutes ago, a SPT member told me the same, and I´ve added yellow for highlight it and dark blue for sadows, i´ll put it in my gallery tomorrow.
Thanks for the comments.

My gore painting technique..
few pages back but I use Tamiya clear red mixed with citadel brown ink and ardcoat varnish..
I use this as a glaze over flesh and green colours like in the ogre pot below and for spatter load the brush line up take the plunge and blow sharply to spray..can be a bit unpredictable but so is blood spatter. seems to work ok for me....
photos a little bright as the lighting picked up the glossy finish.but it gives you the general idea.this model will be posting tomorrow..

Slaanesh Penitent Engine Conversion

I finally have the legs to a stage where I\'m willing to set them aside and move on to the rest of the machine. Really hoping for feedback at this point so that I don\'t have to worry about not being able to reach bits I missed.

I\'m still really happy with the oily effect I managed on the hydraulics. The weathering on the feet and \"purity\" banner I\'m willing to settle for since I\'m tired of going back over it.

Thanks in advance.

Very nice mr. J, very gaudy and Slaanesh :D The oily effect is fantastic! Hatethestate, the Space Wolf is fantastic. Two small points though: I think some of the chips in the paintwork (with metal showing through) on the upper body are overdefined, perhaps soften the blacklining round the edge or place chips on corners/edges so it looks more realistically weathered. 2nd point, the gold could use a tad more definition, as has been mentioned before. Apart from these minor flaws, it is looking brilliant, fantastically painted :) well done

Happy painting
