This is my actual WIP: Nuana, of the Silver Hand. It\'s a mini from the celtos range.

Is the paint on the chainmail and the sword a good start for nmm? This is my first mini where I want to use complete nmm  I\'m not gonna keep the blue on the cloak, any suggestions which colors goes well with the nmm colors?!

Well Tony you have convinced me to have a go at one of those minis, though it will not be a patch on yours. It seems a shame to follow such a great work with this but this is my latest and by way of a change it is non LOTR, it is the Games Day Orc, please note that I am painting the head separately.

I have not decided whether or not I am going to leave the robe white but if I do it will be much dirtier than it is now.

@Fred- Looks great. I am doing something similar currently but I am currently struggling on how to join my two defilier main parts together. Would you be willing to tell me or show me how you managed to connect yours? Much appreciated. teal

Love the ork tidocco. Its one of my favourite sculpts. I must post thepic of my sometime, it got me a silver demon many many years ago. :)
I like the white, dirty it up as you say and it will be great.

Fredwinu that chaos warmachine is looking fabulous, keep up the great work.

I am busy on my GD entry at the moment so nothing to show for now.

well heres the WIP on my 2 dragyri so far... first time trying NMM gold and first time trying SENMM hope you like it so far... went for a different kind of look on the blade... il\'l admit its not the best but i think its not too bad... the roundel that is the darker blue right now will be painted NMM gold.. any ideas for skin colour would be greatly apreciated..

OMG

some very nice works here...will have some shots of something I am working on (not my GD entries for Toronto) soon...

but I must say...

Tim, Tony- OMG...the orc and the...whatever that is Tony are beautiful.

Tim - a white robes on orc is quite...different...maybe some dirt and bit of freehand would be a unique style instead of normal tattored type clothes orcs are given.

sure but the technique for the NMM is not so different as explained in the Clone Centurus Tutorial Step By Step Article ^^

just add the snakebite

-Base with scorched brown 40% + scaly green 60 %

-Mix Snakebite Leather 40%

-highlight with desert yellow

-highlight with rotting flesh + bleached bone, then light points with skull white

-wash with thinned scaly green + hawk turquoise.
