Worst Mistake?

I think the worst would of been when I left the cap of of my glue, then bumped the table at some point and glued my exacto knife completly to the table as well as the glue bottle. The wosrt part was that I did not know that I did it either, untill a few day\'s later.

@ Eric What I want to know is how does one go about gluing thier nostral? Did you fall asleep on some glue? ???

Ok,

many people have heard this story, but I\'ll tell it again for fun.

Have a look at this figure -

Dwarven Zombie

Well this is the second time it waas painted. The first time I painted it I accidently primed one side of it white instead of varnished it. So I stripped him.

As was my habit at the time, I glued him to a base and glued the base onto the bottom of a glass to hold on to. Unfortunately I didn\'t notice the superglue was leaking everywhere when I did it. I managed to glue one hand to the glass and my ENTIRE right forearm to a glass top table as I leaned in the pool of glue.

I phoned a friend who has a set of door keys so he could come round and get the nail varnish remover from the bathroom...but he wasn\'t in london that day. I spent a long time very carefully peeling myself away from the table with a scalpel.

A normal day for me really....

I once had an accident were i accidentaly dropped a pot of Chaos Black on the floor, and it somehow soaked into the wood floor so the floor got a whole new color. :D

I\'ve posted this story before. I had a 1 1/2 inch circular saw going a few thousand rpm\'s in my dremel. The dremel slipped and I caught it......by the blade. Yup Jim, the blade was definately sharp.

Using Tamiya \"clear Matt\" as a varnish. I\'d forgotten that stuff is made to be added to other paints to cut down gloss, not a varnish. I.e. instand snow camouflage!

Put a bloody drill bit into my finger tip the other week when the bit slipped off the gnoblar I was drilling into! Not a bad injury, but sodding painful. Still bruised now!

Already told the story several times: Worst thing I\'ve ever done was glue my beard to my calves.

i was putting together models and my brand new xacto knife rolled off the table, and made a nice mark on my foot. I didnt notice it fell until i glanced down to see a huge (growing) red spot on my sock.

i also got superglue on my teeth :D yum

Ok, this is going to sound really stupid, but usually when i remove plastic models from their sprues i put my thumb up against the join on one side and use a modelling knife on the other side to cut through, and my thumb stops the blade , normlly i don\'t put enough pressure into the cut to actually penetrate my thumb, but the next day i always find loads of small slits on my thumb i didnt notice before whre the blade had actually sliced the skin, trouble is it happens all the time, maybe i should use clippers from now on

maybe not as major as the stuff most people have said but still....:

Oke I\'m a real disaster when it comes to glue and sharp things... but this..... There is just one question popping up in my head.... HOW? lol

oh, anyone could have done it! I just was gluing a ton of minis together, I didn\'t notice that I got a blob of super glue on my hand...I had a little itch on my nose, and I scratched, and when I stopped...my nostril sayed shut...

So you see, glueing your nostril shut wasn\'t a big deal...you should have seen trying to UNglue my nostril...that was something. :(

awe man EricJ... i hate it when super glue FUMES get in my nose, that most have been a nightmare... i feel you\'re pain.

Hmmm... never hurt myself or a mini while working this hobby, but i\'ve cut myself widdleing and on the job. Cut my pinkie clean off except for a layer of skin, blood vessle and nerve almost 2 weeks ago. Healing nicely, can sculpt, but painting still hurt too much... can\'t keep my hand that far closed for that amount of time. :(
