I think the point is...WE meaning the individuals, need to be more involved with the policies and workings of OUR governments. The U.S. isn\'t the only bad apple. It\'s just got the dumbest worm sticking out.
Bush isn\'t a major player, he\'s a major puppet.
His GRAND-DADDY was a big time player, his DADDY tried to follow in his footsteps...little W just does what he\'s told.

I used to think it was an act. Go and meet the sh*t for brains in person, in a non-public setting....he really is that clueless. The problem is that he THINKS he\'s smart.

As for Covert Ops...small is easy, medium is impossible but after a certain level big ones get easier, it\'s about organization and fail-safes. Like \"terrorist cells\" you only let a few coordinators know enough to cause problems, and you make sure they\'re screwed and or dead if they leak. The rest is this group does this...no connections, nothing to collaborate...etc, and believe me, the biggest operations can be done quietly. There might be a trail, but you would have to know WHAT you are looking for to find it.

Religion is a farce, and the oldest beauracray in existence. We need to reconnect to our fellow man(woman) and reclaim our stolen rights.

There is no governments in power today that can handle a world-wide community.
The U.S. has grown far too big for its Governing body to really be effective.
The problems aren\'t going away, they\'re getting worse and they\'re being ignored or hidden.


SOMETHING needs to be done. And dumbing our kids through school is a REALLY BAD START!!

This was all I needed to see to let me know not to go out and begin mass-manufacture of my foil hats just yet. Especially that second one. I think if I were trying to lend credibility to ANYTHING I\'d try to make sure she stayed as far away from it as possible.

That said, I don\'t think I\'ve lost my rights. At least I\'m pretty sure I still have my second amendment right. For now. (much to the chagrin of this list of \"credible\" individuals).

The second amendment is there in case the government forgets to follow the first one.

well it was a fun lil flick i saw it a while ago, and yeah I was bored outta my wits when I stumbled on it. all in all it\'s as much fact as fiction, yeah the income tax amendment was passed without enough signatures, but hell now we got canidates for president runnin with a platform to repeal it and disband the IRS (woot Ron Paul) and yeah to a point I think schools are headin in a dumb dumb direction tho I think it\'s more the whole public school mentality of movin at the pace of the slowest kid in the class, thats why ya make sure to give your kids oportunities to get education else where or learn em up at home and teach em to find knowledge on their own. And I been sayin for a long time that the dang Christians stole my god horus\'s creation story :cussing: lol oh lord that part was as fun as listening to a bible thumper talk about how the earth is 3000 years old and dinosaurs are a fraud both are wonderous works of small minds but big imagination. All in all I think zeitgiest should get 2 thumbs up for simply havin the best conspiracy movie soundtrack other then that well pretty much a big shrug lol theres more fun things to do then go all conspiracy crazy.

Its actually a myth that all militiamen are crazy, paranoid nutjobs who want to split from the Union. Mainly on account of Timothy McVeigh, the Oklahoma City bomber who was mistakenly thought to be a member of the Michigan State Militia. 99% of Militias are just ordinary citizens who like to shoot guns and make sure that local elections are done fairly and without corruption, campaign against unjust laws or government acts, practise what to do incase of natural or manmade disasters upto and including terrorist attack or foreign invasion and generally try to be model citizens.

I hear these things a lot and I know these conversations can get emotional, so please understand the spirit in which I am debating with you on this: I\'d rather be on friendly terms with you here than win, so please don\'t read aggression into my rebuttal.

That said: at what point have your personal rights to privacy been compromised? Being in banking I\'m VERY familiar with the USA Patriot act and it seems to me that the people who have reason to worry about invasions of privacy do so because they are suspect for one reason or another. The average citizen is simply not imposed upon as part of this. Even if the government wanted to they simply wouldn\'t have time and if they had time, why would they care unless there was reason to believe that an individual was suspect?

Same thing with due process. Have you been detained? I\'m guessing not unless you are on a terrorist watch list. Fact is, I can\'t think of one US citizen who has been (granted I may be wrong here). All the \"illegal detainments\" we have made have been against known or suspected offenders of foreign origin, not subject to the rights and privileges of the US constitution. Furthermore, it\'s not the first time this has happened. Asians were detained en masse during WWII and many of them WERE citizens. There wasn\'t a lot of complaining about it then though as they viewed it as reasonable suspicion (even the detainees themselves in large part.). These days we call it \"racial profiling.\"

I fully agree with the things you said about political correctness and such though I don\'t necessarily believe it\'s an infringement of \"right\" so much as it is simply a cultural faux pas. I, for one, am extremely non-politically correct and no one\'s thrown me in jail. yet...

and as for taxes. I hate \'em too but they are law even if the law was created unlawfully. In other words, until the law is overturned on the basis of it\'s improper creation, it is enforceable. This was learnt the hard way by a lot of the original proponents of the \"income tax is illegal\" group, many of whom are currently serving prison time for tax evasion. I would like to see the income tax overturned and a more progressive taxation system implemented, but until then, I\'ll pay my taxes because I like sunshine and my family and don\'t want a roomate named Spike with a bottle full of KY with my name on it.

The fact that the Act exists is a violation.
And there is no such thing as a \"Tax Law\".

Tax evasion is a violation of policy, if you can manage to track down and file the correct forms, you will be exempt from any income taxes.

And you should really do a little bit more research into how many people actually SERVE time in prison for tax evasion. Most of them are overturned in their first or second appeal as the constitution still protects us, if you can afford the lawyer that is willing to pull the appropriate case files.

And as well as the due process, define \"suspicious\", as there actually HAVE been cases, (quietly of course) of citizens being detained with no charges, and no reports, and they were NOT on ANY watch list, terrorist/FBI or otherwise.

I do not take offense with your rebuttal.
I\'m just letting you know that you don\'t have all the facts.

However, buying land is not.

Let\'s put it another way. If your government sold your land to someone else, who would you be pissed at, the government or the people living on the land they purchased from the government?

The point I\'m making is that those claiming it was their land have no claim even recognized by their own government, nor can they prove that their ancestors had any claim to the land, and those who were living on the land at the time have long since been US citizens as well as their lineage.

And I must ask how eager would they be to have this land if it were all barren wilderness. Not too eager I think.
