Sorry guys but I dont want to return to the spectrum days of loading games. Is there a multi coloured border to watch while it loads ??lol

I was seriously thinking about getting a 360 but in the end opted for just the xbox. Last one was ps2.
Im chuffed with the xbox for now.

Jet Set Willy, Atic Atac, Manic Miner, Sabre Wolf, Knight Lore - they were well worth the wait:D

I wonder sometimes if Obliion, Ghost recon etc really are better games - after all they are all just pleasant ways to waste timelol

I traded in lots of old stuff to get a 360 with Ghost Recon, Call of Duty 2 and PGR3. Nothing really next-generation about them but decent enough games. I could weigh out the pros and cons of 360 as I see them for 1000s of words (I really could, I love that sort of stuff!), but ultimately they don’t matter. The greatness of a 360 can be shown with a simple description of my gaming last night.

I’m sat playing Ghost Recon on my own and a message pops up telling me that my brother (who lives a few 100 miles away) is online so I invite him to chat. In seconds he is hurling a friendly bit of abuse into his headset at me and I’m setting up a room and mocking him back, then we start gaming. A few hours later my housemate gets back from work and once the next game is about to start he picks up another pad, signs in and joins the game on our TV. One of his mates with a 360 comes online too, so he invites him into the game too. Later a friend of mine from university who I’ve not actually seen for years, and one of my brothers mates also join and with no effort, no pauses, no hassle we play it out the whole night.

Social gaming is the best, and it’s easier to do on 360 than anything else, so you need to get one.

Do any Cool Mini or Not people exchange gamer tags so they can meet up online, chat and play against each other?

Just got a 360 and Oblivion. The load times seem to be pretty short, maybe at most a minute or two when going into a town or dungeon. Man it is nice looking and plays well also. I\'ve always been more partial to games with a party of adventurers but this is the best rpg \"simulator\" I have ever seen. It is cool just to walk around and see the landscape, find a dungeon and go exploring. It\'s like being a kid again and going off into the hills to play adventure or find a fishing hole, except without the shotgun-toting ranchers on horseback. Can\'t do that stuff anymore without getting arrested or shot, so this game is the closest thing. Now if they could include fishing in the game...
