I won this auction from an eBay seller. The auctions was for two miniatures. I paid $32.93 for the auction but only recieved one of the miniatures. The seller is very difficult to get in touch with. So, I basicly paid an insane amount of money for one miniature. Not fun.

I have been very patient. The seller told me that she had serious family problems.

She did tell me that she might have packed it in another auction. But no one was admitting if they recieved an extra auction or not. It has been over sixty days.

I think this is ending eBay for me.

Dont let the bad ones get ya buddy. there are other people out there who are very nice and professional about these kinds of things. the only reasonable thing to do would be to get yout money back for the one not sent. if that was the case ... and nothing is done you need to contact Ebay about theses sort of things. they have people i believe that can help y ou with this

I did contact eBay. They can\'t give me back my money because it has been over 60 days.

that is what i get for being patient.

Its not eBay that should be refunding your money its the f-ing seller.. Did you pay through Pay Pal? if so contact them you should of got buyer protection..if it says 60 days is too late on the web site send them a email and if needed send along all the emails with the seller hopefully someone will respond to you from Pay Pal. if you paid though the mail with a postal money order..tell the seller you are going to file mail fraud charges on them.

Other than that get yourself all worked up and nasty looking and take a picture..send it to the seller and tell them that if they dont send you your figure or refund your money you will hunt them down and eat them.. lol

The ol we have amily problems is a load of bull shit. I find if I have a issue with a buyer or seller and its their fault..I get hard on them fast..they almost always reply.

My husband ordered a mini on line, paid by MO and didn\'t get the mini and then saw it re-auctioned. He\'s still fighting the guy. He will never do anything without paypal again.

Did he buy the MO from the post office? if so did he keep the recept? if so he can check and see if it was cashed and if so.. again tell the seller he will file Federal Postal Fraud charges against them.. Talk to your post office about it, or look on line. if the person accepted and cashed the Money order and didnt send anything then its theft.

I\'ve bid and won over 100 figs from ebay, I\'ve had problems twice.

First time the guy vanished, Never got my fig, never got my $

The second time I had to wiat forever, get angry, and then I got my stuff.

DOn\'t ditch ebay because of a few bad apples, always check the feed back

I have every sympathy for you Ebon,getting ripped off isn\'t pleasant, but sadly you are not alone in this kind of thing.
While I\'ve been careful with my purchases through Ebay I do know of several people, including members of this site, who have been let down by Ebay sellers. Not just some anonymous Joe (& Jill) auctions but people who have had a supposed \'International\' reputation as a painter.

American Law about Mail Fraud seems a lot clearer than anything comparative in the UK.

Never nice to have a deal go bad. I have had my share of it.

Take feedback seriously, but also look for retaliatory feedback by *ssholes. It\'s very hard to leave negative feedback nowadays with unprofessional sellers as they will likely retaliate which has bigger impact on my feedback percent then theirs. If people seems stubborn or overly aggressive with their negative feedback.. don\'t buy from the seller even if they have a high percent of positive sellers. Because if the deal goes bad it\'s likely to go very bad.

EDIT: oh. and don\'t be very patient I think it\'s 45days to get your money back with paypal.. and people are likely to make up excuses so that line is crossed..

Avelorn prediction came true. I finally got fed up with no replies and left positive feedback. Suddenly, the seller found teh item and now they are leaving negative feedback in retaliation. And its my fault because I didn\'t wait longer? Another 60 days perhaps?

You left positive feedback? What I don\'t get is why they didn\'t just do the deal; seems to me there was no benefit to them to make you wait a long time. I must say, you seem a patient man; I don\'t think I\'d have waited 60 days.

having only bought from ebay once, i can hardly complain... my friend however knows someone who bought an xboxbox, spelt exactly like that, so it looked like a typo, he bought the item for £60 and he got his box 2 weeks later.Just the box. he was a bit annoyed. just a bit.

Nope. I left negative and they left me negative in reuturn. Then claimed to have the rest of my auction. Now she will not send the rest of the auction or refund my money.

But I did get called alot of names.

I can\'t find the area where you can argue to get unfair negative feedback removed. Did they do away with it?

I never ever leave feedback for sellers if they haven\'t already left feedback. I hate the tit-for-tat feedback thing. If you pay in good time, feedback should be forthcoming regardless.

If she sent you an email stating that she will not ship you the item, and she will not send you the money..then save the email and forward to EBAY, paypal. etc..
