Hey guys. I wanted to start this topic here. Feel free to post your pics as well. The first miniature you painted when you were first lurking, or posting on this site. Now im sure we will see come surprising results. Lets do it! This is my behind. :moon:
I returned to painting doing up 6 or 7 horses, and this was the last one I did (making this mini #8), as a Christmas gift to my mother. I attempted a diorama, with instruction from an Large Bases(Updated) article on this site. For the trees I used a guide found in the LOTR rule book. (i had done the trees back in the day).
This is a horse from a Rohan Rider (LORT GW line). I also did some minor shading, no washes, just layering. I had no mettalics at this point, so the head plate is still in progress.
ps. I dont know what to say about that field either.
