Ok - I\'m curious. What do you guys and gals use for a work area? Do you have a separate room for a \"studio\"? Or are you like me and completely take over the kitchen table, or a desk in your room? Do you get so many projects going that you hardly have room to work? (I think it would be fun to post pics of your work area - who has the most crowded, who has the cleanest, most organized?)
Work area lighting? What do you use? I don\'t have good natural lighting, besides I usually paint in the evening. I\'ve got a ceiling fan overhead, with large daylight bulbs but man they put out the heat!
I used to have a desk light with a daylight bulb in it that had a magnifying glass in the middle. I can\'t paint while looking through the magnifying glass - it destroys my depth perception - but I\'d use the magnifying glass to check details, paint, check again. I may get that thing back out. Does anyone use magnification to help them out?
Right now I use an Ott Light on my table. I absolutely love it since it was developed for artists, reveals truer colors, and it was reasonably priced at Wal Mart.
So what about you guys? What do you use? What does your work bench/studio look like? Post pics if you can! I\'ll see if I can get one when I get home this eve.
:bouncy:
Cheers,
Kat
