DUDE YOUR BACK! I mean I know you have been imparting your wise wisdom all over CMON. But I am so glad to see what you been working on. I squeeled like a little girl at a Justin Beeber concert when I saw your video....well maybe not that bad but I loved watching it and seeing what you been working on. Thanks for the update bud.

Yeah, I'm a southpaw. Honestly I have just been cutting video. I'm not painting or building anything these days. I have to admit that all the shades for grey contest looked cool, but I don't want to start something and rush through it for a contest. One more display video and then hopefully my stuff from the NOFC will be here. That will be a fun project like the smurf scouts from last year. I'm going to spend the summer batch painting crap and trying new techniques on things I plan to sell or give away then get back to display type stuff in the fall and winter. I'm feeling some burn out and fun easy projects should help me get over that :)

I here ya bud. I get burnt out from time to time to. These forums though have kept me going for a lot longer than normal. Well my friend can't wait to see what you got coming...even if the are more smurfs. Hehehe

Its tricky to film stuff ay, I had a go but the zoom is not enough on my camera and then I got focus issues. My main thing was I didnt want to get the lense covered in over spray if it was too close. well done on a good video.

Everyone needs a break now and again. Just don't be gone too long, you will be sorely missed.

I would really hate to gather everyone up, pass out the torches and pitchforks South Park style, and head to your place in the arctic.

All the shades contest inspired me to finally try out some limited palette pieces with my Loka set. Fun sculpts, not fun to prep (kinda like the SDE minis) but good for quick relaxing table top jobs...

Oh now thats cool. Is it just the one shade idea your doing for them? It works really well if it is, then again your Zab and all your ideas kind of melt my mind. The skelleton shade really goes well with the board. What game is that again?

Thanks! I think you can still get Loka from cardhause or FF. I just took black and white and one color for each mini. It's been fun and i can crank out about one mini in about an hour with wet on wet. The funny thing is I am learning more about hue, saturation, contrast and NMM on this fun little exercise than if i had read a million articles or tried a more ambitious project :p I may just keep going with this set even after my NOFC stuff comes because it so fast and fun it will be a great way to avoid burnout on that army project, but it will also keep me painting :)
