Kids are hell on painting, until they get old enough to basecoat stuff for you, then they are cheap labour :p

Got the base kinda done and a bit of a start on the minis too now the the NOFC gang has started to nail down the palette...

So should I add a few splashes of blood to the base like I did with Alice? Not sure...

Yes I saw that earlier today. Nowhere near as scary as moonmin82's stuff though. That one just looks like a dirty hobo. "Hey kids i got some candy in my van..." Blech - dirty old clown.

I think the score reflects the work now. Just turned them on for a bit to see and it's around 7.1 - I agree with that given how fast I churned them out, it was just for fun anyway. I guess it was lower before. I kind of view it as praise that some one is petty/threatened enough to down vote my work. Oh, ~sigh~ if only they had the courage to leave a comment with their score, then it wouldn't keep me up nights wallowing in self pity :eyeroll:

Yeah, It's a contest so people are going to be pretty ruthless with the votes. I am pretty stoked CMON is doing contests though. I would love to have a contest every month. They make you try new stuff, and it's pretty fun to be up there with Flameon, even if it's only for three votes :)

Yeah what shocked me the most was the number of views on those little pawns o_O closing in on 2000 - WTF?!

Thanks! It's on hold for a bit now that my part of the NOFC armies are here but I'll finish it up and throw it in with them when i am done :)
