Dark Elf Prince- Silver GD UK'05

Well well... finally after a couple of months i've decided to post my winning entry in UK Golden Demon. It is my best miniature so far, i tried to go for a much more serious, dark and realistic mood on this model, i also chose a very dark colourscheme to represent properly the dark elves essence... Furthermore I thought that making the elf ride a horse instead of a cold one would give my model a much more strong personality, as it¡¦s not usual to see them ride horses (except of one of the gaming regiments). I used tyrion's horse as the base to sculpt my new dark steed, i put its head looking at a side to give more dynamism and movement to the miniature. The rider itself was almost scratchbuilt, with the exception of the head and his right arm... Also, i added a ponytail and a banner to represent the wind on the model... All in greenstuff, milliput or mixture of them both. I¡¦ve done some progresses on the picture taking (the metals still look crap here :() i know its still a lot of work to do but at least i took this picture myself:D hope you like it guys! comments are really apreciated as always. PS: congratulations to all the GD UK winners, especially to my spanish friends, joe hill for placing gold in my category and kirill for winning that coveted sword... and all the other of course:) Esta miniatura va dedicada al spanish team al completo, y al resto de colegas que tengo , ya sabeis quienes soys; os kiero chikos jeje va por vosotros:) Albert
