Chaos Marine Tzeentch Thousand Sons Sorcerer

A model painted up for a client. Blended metallics were the key here, done after being inspired from the cover an Inferno magazine depicting a Tzeentch sorcerer in shiny armour. The sword I blended towards the middle, rather than out towards the edges. The effect was more of an energy power effect, much like a lightsaber. I finished off the blade with an array of stars and the symbol of Tzeentch, to emphasize it's "otherworldliness"... a worthy weapon of a potent sorcerer. Lastly, I painted the casing of the pistol in woodgrain, and stained it with the Vallejo woodgrain stain. In all, I think what I was going for here was to try and make this model very different than the run-of-the-mill Chaos Space Marine paintjobs out there.
