Amon Hen

This custom-built terrain piece features the ancient seeing seat of Amon Hen, as seen in Fellowship of the Ring.

The seeing seat at the top is removable, so it serves as a multi-purpose wargaming model - anything from a generic stone temple, to a flat-topped ancient landing platform for 40K. The tree on the side is also removable.

This model's been shown at several model displays in New Zealand and always gets an enthusiastic response from the public.

It's size makes it a good dramatic centrepiece for any gaming table.

Length:16 inches (40cm),

Width: 12 inches (30cm),

Height: 9 inches (23cm) to the top of the statue/seat.

The structure and steps are built from a hard & very tough foam (herex), the hillside is a mixture of other expanded foams, and the statues & seat are a combination of epoxy putty and acrylic resin. Amon Hen is from our private collection and in brand new condition. We're clearing some much-needed space so now it's time for Amon Hen to go to another home.

Amon Hen was hand-made by the hard working modelling goblins over at www.customhobby.com, drop on by for a visit and check out our galleries of custom made wargames terrain, display models and figure painting. Fantasy, historical, SF, LOTR, whatever you game in or collect, we'll happily work in any scale, period or genre.

Fantastic work as usual. The only thing I'm not so pumped about is the tree. Everything else is perfect.
