An excellent piece, it was wonderful to see it at Salute. The highlighting and colours are excellent, hopefully you'll have plenty of time to do more "proper painting" in the future. Painting in the shadows for the brackets and spikes is a wonderful extra touch, and I don't think the shadows on the wall are too dark, if anything I think the textured effect in the shadowed area has a touch too much highlight, but I'm still not totally sure, so that probably means it's spot on  |
