Kotus (Thousand Sons Dreadnought)

This was my entry at the Canadian Games Day. Done as a comission for a friend, using a dirge caster as the head at the request of said person. The idea was to make it look as Egyptian in theme as possible, and to emphasize that it is a sarcophagus for a chaos champion. The head crest, decorative beard, design on the sarcophagus (viewers left), the tzeentch symbol on the power fist, and the various birds were carved from plasticard. In fact there is not a bit of putty on this dreadnought at all. The leg armour is from the tomb kings line as are the skulls and banners hanging from the model. The paint scheme was kept as simple as possible to match the rest of the army. The photo was taken by GW at Games Day as I do not have a digital camera myself. If I can get someone to lend me a camera, I will post other shots. Comments always welcome.

This is really a 9.8, but i'm afraid i need to take a little bit off for the symbol on the fist. Everything else makes this one of the best TS dreads around

My very favorite thing about this Dreadnought is that there isn't a speck of greenstuff on the whole thing!! ie. ANYBODY can make this!!! Well... The plasticard designs would take a bit of skill, however, it's not impossible! :D BEAUTIFUL conversion!!!
