Age of Santa (Stormcast Eternal Liberator conversion)
I converted and painted this Stormcast Eternals Liberator and gave him as a present for Christmas Miniatures Exchange 2016 =) To make a crosier I used a Night Goblins curved weapon (after all they are Santa's helpers =) and I sculpted the Santas's bulgy bag and hat using Green Stuff. The Liberator's armour was perfect to represent the Santa's red and white suit. I also thought about giving him a beard, but it would probably be too much =) I painted the whole miniature with warm colours - you can clearly see it on the Non Metallic Metal gold I recently use. This NMM is more "shiny" in reality, but I just couldn't capture it on the photograph. In the beginning I wanted to give him glowing eyes, but the concept of gems in those mask eye sockets was definitely more appealing =) To finish the miniature I coated it with Citadel texture Valhallan Blizzard. I wanted him to not to be just another miniature put in the cabinet/locker after the present has been opened so I managed to find a perfect bell-glass with a ribbon to hang it on the Christmas Tree or on a hook =)
