Sisters of Battle Repressor tank

Not long after this model was released through mail order, we had a client asking us to paint up two of these for his Warhammer 40K Sisters of Battle army. The colour scheme had to match the rest of his army (red and black), but other than that, there wasn't any other special requests. Having done up a Sisters of Battle army for myself in the same colours, this was time to revisit the school of overshading and highlighting, finished off with a thin red glaze to "pull" the shades together, back to reasonable levels. I've been told that it creates a very warm feeling to the colour, and first-hand witnesses often compare the look to rich red laquered wood. The detailing was kept simple, with some decorative "squiggles" (my terminology) in the corners for that fancy look, and the words, "The man who has nothing can still have FAITH!" along the top. Had to pull out my 0000 Kolinsky sable brush for that one...
