Eldar Ranger

This fig was sculpted from scratch and painted for UK GD 2005. It took about a day and a half to sculpt and then about 10 hours to paint. I'd have liked to have had much more time for painting but I had to do nearly all of it the day before GD. There have been some comments about the left hand from the green I posted of this miniature. I did make some alterations to this hand after the green photo was taken but for the most part it's odd look is down to the photographs. If I'd had time I might have gone with slightly smaller hands but I'm not unhappy with them. Unfortunately the mini did not win a demon. Ah well, can't win'em all :)

If this didn't place, then I can't wait to see the winners! Simply amazing color scheme, I love how it's styled after one of my all time favorite miniatures, that 54mm Inquisitor Ranger. Sadly mine just sits there unpainted, calling my name all day :D Seriously though, one of the most inspiring minis I've seen in a very long time.
