Rowen, female centaur archer

I painted this miniature for a fellow player in the on-line MMORPG "Legend of the Green Dragon". Although our characters are pretty much adversaries in the game, I liked her description of an all-black female centaur, so I fished Steve Buddle's beautiful Rowen sculpt out of my pile of lead and turned it into Redapple, her own PC. The pic is slightly out of focus, but I've taken a dozen or so and this is the best one I've managed to obtain... Sorry about that; I hope you'll like the mini anyway!

I like the colour scheme a lot, simple, yet effective. You did a nice transition between the skin and fur area, the gold has a nice shine to it, and I like the base. The highlights on the hair and tail seem a bit stark in places, but highlighting black hair is difficult, I know.
