Siobhana, Vampire Queen

This mini shows my first efforts with static grass (man, I love it!) and my first shot at undead skintones... I also experimented with temporary tattoos on the back of her cloak... you know, the crappy ones you usually find in chewing-gums and such! Just drop the tatto in a bowl of water, with the figure facing you (as you would with a decal, but here the tattoo won't detach from the cardboard support!), then fish it out and carefully apply it to the primed surface: you need a rather flat one, 'cause it's difficult to fold the tattoo... oh, and of course, the surface has to be primed WHITE! Be careful: the tattoo's film is much thinner than a decal's, so if your fingers tremble even a little bit, tiny cracks will be visible on it (that's what happened to the one on this miniature, I fear!) When the tattoo is in place, don't touch it until the day after - and even then, give it a good spray of sealer before touching! The damn thing stays sticky forever... and it attracts dust, it seems. You shoul keep it under a bok or something, so that nothing will get caught by the surface... oh, and beware of fingerprints!
