As you know, thinning the paint would help. But I think a little black lining (anywhere two different edges meet) would help immensely. Keep working at it!!
I'm actually really impressed with the face. The cape also looks nice. The body armor and the arms don't look so good. His right arm looks like it may have a compound fracture. Still, it's all looking better than my recent attempts.
