Kage Dar: Barbarian Adventurer
Well, this is the beginning of something special for me. You may just remember this guy posted as a green a while back. Well, he’s been cast up and painted by myself now. Why, I hear you cry? Well, I’m finally ready to launch my own miniatures range. Something I’ve been mumbling about for a good while now. So, finally, here is one of the first releases for my range, Spyglass Miniatures! More details will be coming within a few days in the form of a press release to let you guys know exactly what I’m planning. But enough of the whys, here are the what’s. This is Kage Dar: Barbarian Adventurer. He was a fun staple character to sculpt and I wanted to paint him up in a simple, no-nonsense style. The way I like to do things. And my thought for the day on this guy? The shorts. Suffice to say, I’m very pleased with my new Graveyard Earth and Commando Khaki paints from Citadel (in much nicer pots). Base coated in Graveyard and highlighted up to Commando. Nice! Keep your eyes peeled as in a few days I’ll upload my next painted Spyglass Miniature. Next up will be Katalin: Succubus. Another figure I uploaded a while back as a green. Watch this space. Steve Buddle
