NPC Bartender

Because no campaign is complete without an NPC to torture for information that he doesn't have. This is a bartender miniature that a friend of mine enjoyed having for the simple reason that every player manages to find her way to a tavern, where the bartender is inevitably questioned. Unfortunately he is currently in Maryland, where his DMing is sadly under-utilized, so his sister currently has claim to this handy fellow until her brother's return. This was my first real attempt at smudging a character with "dirt" - using brown paint and a drybrush technique. Nowhere to go from here but up! :D He also came with two barmaids that I didn't manage to take pictures of, so it also became my first foray into skincolors other than Mr. John Smith-white. The barmaids were each pale- and dark-skinned, and this fellow got more of a middle American complexion. (Xephira was actually painted after these three.) Enamel over pewter-aluminum figurine, hand-painted.
