Zombie 2
CAN I JUST SAY. THIS ZOMBIE'S FLESH IS ROTTING. BITS ARE FALLING OFF HER. HER FACE IS BASICALLY MELTING. AND SHE STILL HAS BETTER TITS AND ASS THAN ME. jUST. sAYING. Cough. Anyway. Design failures aside, this figurine was still fun to paint. Boobs are actually really fun to paint for some reason. The zombies came in a group of three, akin to the tavern staff I received, so logically I went with the same three ethniticies of whiteish, blackish, and brownish. This was another really cool exercise in skin tones because the zombie flesh requires a rotting quality, which I attempted with a green wash. Unfortunately with this model, there were a lack of exhibited internal bits other than the semi-detached foot, so she became more of a ghoul than a zombie. Looking back, I wish I'd painted on splotches of muscle to convey missing skin, in the very least. Live and learn. (Dammit, now that I think about it, I completely missed an opportunty to paint a mammary gland! falskfj!!) Enamel and acrylic paint on pewter/aluminum figurine, hand-painted.
