Zombie 1
Lol zombie butt. I had to make this guy white because I've seen too many scrawny white boy butts that look exactly that awkward. Anyway, my tastes in pron aside, monsters in general are very fun when it comes to washes, and this guy was no exception. One wash brought the entire face to life, luvvit. This is my first attempt with acrylic. I came across some paints I forgot I had that are actually meant for painting miniatures, however by then I'd already painted the skin base on this guy, so I did the rest in acrylic. It definitely handles better than enamel and is much better for my brushes than enamel, so I'm going to look into getting more acrylic soon. The only thing I'm not quite sure about on this figure is the "goop" under the lifted boot. I was wondering to myself if that was even meant to be kept on, or if it was meant to be cut off, because the detailing on it didn't appear as slimy as I'd think mud would be designed as. I didn't want to mess up the center of gravity, though, so I left it on and hoped for the best. Any advice on if that bit was meant to stay on or not? Enamel and acrylic on pewter/aluminum figurine, hand-painted.
