Sublime work! I also initially thought the blue on the cape was unaturally bright, almost as though it had a different light source shining on it, but multiple light sources would cast diffuse shadows. Then I looked more closely at the base again and noticed diffuse shadows. The paint job is correct and our perception of how it 'should' look is wrong. Superb!
