Imperial Fists - Assault Terminators

For my 32nd-to-38th minis (or so, didn't number them exactly...) I finally decided to take out of the blisters my 7 Assault Terminators, and I've gotta say I'm happy I did :) Not only they do pack quite a punch, but I sure had some fun painting them, even if Golden Yellow's been a bi#c! as usual... Anyway, nothing special here, these are tabletop gameplay minis after all and I regularly employ them on the battlefield, but I guess they could've come out way worse, huh? :) On a sidenote, the sergeant's standard was "sculpted" with green stuff and then (crappily) freehanded. The Chapter's icons on the shoulderpads were freehanded as well, and the sergeant's power sword was "hardblended" - that means, since I can't wetblend yet, I simply overlapped layers of similar colors, going from darker to lighter :) And well, the helmets are simply highlighted with Blazing Orange for the sergeant and Vomit Brown for the other termies (even if I know that a highlight isn't supposed to be darker than the color it sits on...), but this can't be seen in the pic :( Feedback is heavily needed and truly appreciated, as usual :)

First of all I must say, that I'm happy to see someone post minis painted for gaming purposes and not just showcase pieces. Thank you for that. But... let's get to the point: Theese are nice terminators, and your entire force must bee quite a sight to behold on the desktop. But there is allways room for improvement: perhaps You should spend some more time with the minis before you even start to paint. Remove mould lines and other unnescessary material (like the lines on the shoulder pads). I too often overlook that part 'cause I can't wait to get paint on the mini to see it in full colour. Everything else has allready been said in the previous comments. ...

Improving nicely :) I won't say anything else - everyone else has already said it!

6 for the overall effect,5 for the painting.Tips:-if you give each sharp corner a white highlight you wont be far from gold nmm.The blending on the claw needs more intermediate shades if you dont wet blend.Apart from that they are neat and clean and the eyes look quite good.
