High Elf Champion

A fun one-off model, I used this mini to practice NMM. This is my firts atempt, more to follow. The scalemail was glazed with Tamia clear orange glaze to give it a richer colour, all the other metalics were done NMM. Advice and comments are very welcome.

You're right about the tan, it is dust / mud but the effect is lost when the gloss varnish blends the contrast. Varnish finishes can be a little hard to predict and I'm mainly using satin now (see Hexamundus Rex). The lighting doen't help as I'm getting a lot of reflections, but hey, it's a learning process and it's all good fun ;-) Thanks for the feedback.

Great job! I really liked the front - the jewels were really nice. The back of the cape is just too glossy and I didn't like the green going to tan. I don't know if it's supposed to be dirt or not - the gloss masks it. Overall, though, really good job. Keep up the good work! (Haven't done NMM myself so I can't comment on that - sorry!)
