Nah - sheer luck Idol. I meant Howard. I didn't know about Jordan.Holy hell. He did from 82-84, and I never knew. I owe all apologies to Trystan.

Uh, were you expecting it to be good?I was very disappointed with Thor.
Want recommendations?I wanna see a good movie about an anti-hero. One where you know the protagonist is a bad guy, but you end up rooting for him.

Kina like Darkblade. Lets see the bad guys win more often, and less steriotypical bad guys while we're at it.
You both are sort of right. Robert Jordan wrote several books in the 80's featuring Conan. But Robert Howard was of course the original author back in the 30's.
Wasn't there a group of authors who picked up where Howard left off? I seem to remember something about working with his unfinished manuscripts. Dang it! Now I'm going to have to hit the search engines. It's too bad I'm at work and actually have to....work. lol!

Sounds suspiciously like Noneed's shot some DIY porn...
If this is like 2 girls 1 cup, i will find you...
How bad are we talking? Was Thor a 5/10 and it just wasn't all that great, or was it more of a 2/10 and we should make an effigy and burn it.

Well those were pretty good movies in their own right, and I think on paper they make decent prospects for movies because the concept 'makes sense' in the wider scheme of things. But a Thor movie was certainly way down the list of must-do movie adaptations for me since the underlying idea is something I have trouble taking seriously in the first place.Fair enough. But I did enjoy Ed Norton's Hulk and the Iron Man movies.
