No idea cass. It doesn't really matter.
So I went with a royal purple. The quick pics kind of washed the highlights a little, but it's quite striking in person. The only thing left is the *gulp* gold I have to do. I really hope I don't tank the model on it.

Just get some shades of gold metallic pigment. It's a heck of a lot easier to shade than paint. 
And lol @ Cass. No worries, it's a cat. What's the first thing a cat does when you sit down? Jumps in your lap and says, "Here's my a$$!" This being a cat girl, of course you're looking at the hoo-hoos.

Ahem, anyways. I've been slacking all morning on this. I know if I just sit down, I can get Kisa done today. But I'm afraid to put paint down and ruin my hard work. NMM is so intimidating on large, complex surfaces. I'm not afraid of the bracelets or rings on the tail, but the helmet and staff have me petrified LOL.

Tackle the biggest scariest piece and work it one step at a time. You will do fine and the rest after that will seem like a breeze.

So the helmet wasn't actually that bad. The problem is the hip armor and the collar.
I'm not doing the helmet eyes gold, which is why they are still dark.

Sooo close. Just need to paint up Scratch tomorrow, and then it's done. Then what? I don't know haha.

This kitty is looking so fine! That's coming from a dog... I mean, a dog person. LOL The gold NMM looks great. Your dead on target with it. The only thing I'm not sweet on is that base. It doesn't seem to complement the figure in texture or color. Just a thought, if you haven't pinned it down, try a softly rippling sand base to accentuate the Egyptian coolness of the miniature's color scheme. Just see if it shines a bit more brilliantly than it does now. She's looking great. I'm eager to see more.

The plastic Wolfen Army box is awesome! The miniatures are great. There's so much detail on them they're screaming to be repainted. If your interested I found about 10 boxes of them for sale from "The Miniature Market" on ebay. Item number:360372261453 They're going for about $40.00 and that's with shipping. Food for thought...

I agree! Sometimes sculptors can't get the proportions right
I agree with ronin - the nmm looks great, but I have to say the staff head looks a bit unfinished. It just has a much "darker" tone to it than the rest of the nmm. just my opinion though!

The staff head is indeed darker, but not quite as dark as the picture looks. When I took the photos I didn't have any lighting coming in from the side, so it's in its own shadow, if that makes any sense.
And ronin - I did already affix her to the base. I'll see if I can't add some sand or something though

That staff does look better with the improved lighting but I'm still with ronin that top of the hook is missing something. But it could also be me, I may need more coffee this morn. But overall she looks really great!
