Picture is a bit dark, but the blood on the base looks much better. Looks real good to me.

Little after the fact but have you tried Tamiya Clear Red? Add a little black wash to it and it makes the best blood effect! Love your work, especially the space marines!

I love that stuff. It's thicker than normal paint, but translucent. Great blood.

@Coyotebreaks The one on your left is a converted GW Great Unclean One and the one on your right is Killjoy from Malifaux.

@Leolian I have read about that on the E2046 forum and have seen a few videos showing it. Course i seen it all after the fact also Thank you for the compliment.

Small update.

I did a few gradual highlights on "Arnold" and i am happy with the way his skin came out...

"Danny DeVito" on the other hand i'm not too sure on yet...

DeVito looks good to me, maybe a hint of purple here and there would go down well? Nothing major, more a suggestion of purple done in a similar way to how you added the black on the dreads for the shade? I'm no pro but i think that could really help create a bit more depth and variation without being overwhelming.

Also I was wondering if you mind if i message you with a few questions about the airbrush? (Dont wanna clog up the wip thread) Nothing technical but from what you have mentioned in posts it sounds like we have similar spaces to paint in and i have avoided getting an airbrush before out of fears of the lack of decent ventilation and so on, So it would be great to get some input on your experiences.

I ended up working on the Great Unclean One who will be "Arnold The Overmaster".

Blocked in where i wanted different colors with calthan brown:

Started work on the head and spotting some of the pustule fleshy areas:

Nurgle minis always have so much going on color-wise, it's hard to keep track of it all...greens browns reds purples blue yellows pinks all the colors of the rainbow. Well done in tying it together.

...and based on his..um,...erm,...pects I would say Arnold is showing the unfortunate side effects of excessive anabolic steroid use.

Update:
Worked on Arnold the Overmaster-Mastermind of infulence over the Pox Plague Marines- Or something. I'm still working on the fluff. Anyhoo i worked on his eye a bit today and blacked out his tongue:

I wanted it to be human like but alien as well. I also wanted it to stand out like the plague toads eyes.

moe - just a suggestion, but at that size, the eye might benefit from a touch of gloss varnish.

Great work, as Trystan says gloss varnish I reckon (only a fine covering) will give the eye a moist appearance.
