Anders i can find more interesting reasons for going to stockholm really :brushwave: :beerwave: :handshake:

Well Stefan ther is nothing stoping you to come up to Stockholm for the fang and after that small not so important event you could go and do some serious :beerwave: and after that explore some :brushwave: of figures in a not so sober state? :handshake:

I have an ugly, but apparently comfortable spare bed in my hobby room. So I can accommodate you. Bit closer to the city... I'll see if there's anything interesting happening during summer.

cool anders! and thanks for the offers too John, sounds kickass but the fang in stockholm isnt in the ultimate timeframe for me atm, id gladly come visit otherwise!

been painting some at my historical b#stard. this is probably the most difficult i ever painted, i actually felt i was swimming in really deep water here. an exact pattern is soooooo much more difficult to freehand than an image. just the basics done on the upper body so far, lets see how this turns out. at least good practise!

okay i somewhat screwed up the knight so i binned it, at least it was good practise on the pattern as said.

assembled 3 of the guys for the greatsword regiment, figured out painting is more fun when you enjoy the models lol. these are slightly hotten up with some etch parts from etch-master (they are btw running a kickstarter as we speak.) great stuff.

Okay first one out of my empire greatswords, just one of the regulars. really like the minis! Going for a green-white theme, "Stir River Patrol", jost to be able to do some more fun freehand than just balls of flames and iron crosses, painting little fishes! and it opens up to do the miniatures a little more individual.

I know, its not rock n' roll NMM, you have to manage with this piss poor true metals ;P

Amazing wonderful superb! The TMM is very good especially on the sword, the way you have used glazing to get that great transition between glints and shadows along the blade realy rocks it's so good you could mistake it for NMM! Bravo! ;)

Joking aside that realy is very good and the belt sets it off nicely. The colours and lighting make it look like a Dutch masterpiece maybe something from the night watch. Jealous!

True metals... the surströmming of miniature painting! :curl-lip:

Nicely done! I'd like to see the effect on that sword in real life to see what it does to the overall impression of the mini. But it looks nice in photos (even yours... :giggle: ).
