as a sidenote, i realized yesterday where some of the water effect went. can be seen in the last photo. lol. guess the ground itself wasnt entierly sealed.

Don't think that diorama looks bad... As usual, you did a very nice and almost perfect job on this one. Painting and blending is great - I like the contrast between the mini and the base. Water effect looks very good, too. And the banner is absolutely outstanding. Would be a pitty to donate it to a GW shop; ok - they'd had a unique highlight mini for their shop window

This has to be one of my most favorite minis. Not because of the mini itself but what you have done to it. The paint job is perfect, the basing just enhances the scene and every time I see you post new pics I fall in love with it all over again. Truely amazing work.

Paintjob on the big rat is awesome as always, but the base really struck me!

So much details, so much realistic.. and the water effect turned out pretty good too. Congrats Skel.

are they seriously sending the winner of each category? i find that very hard to believe and suicidal when it comes to deliver them all in one piece. not everyone it entering small easy to pack 28mm singles ;D

im even more skeptical to the whole competition now, good thing i aint particularly happy with this mini then :silly!:

another historical, thist time a regular german knight 13th century. 54mm. won it on a competition and thought why not...
this time im going to paint it more like my style than the bishop knight.
