Good advice there, on not rushing things at the end. I think my last submission suffered from this. It comes from a desire to get feedback on the finished piece and mode onto another project. Nothing feels better than having a freshly primed and sanded mini; the blank canvas. Possibilities abound!
I will have to try out this Matt medium technique you speak of. Do you just keep an eye out for areas that are too glossy? Or do you hit the entire mini with it because it makes all if it look better? I know that certain colors from certain manufacturers always dry too gloss. Like chaos black for GW. Or most inks from my manufacturer. Basically, what is your strategy with using the mathew medium?
