I started working on a base for a piece I'm doing for Massive Voodoo's contest. It will have some water effects and such, but I won't do any of that until the Ogres are done.

My Ogres are coming along nicely, but I have a modeling problem. I can't finish a project without starting a new one first. So here is a bit of a Teutonic Grand Master from Pegaso that I'm working on.

Finally got my Figopedia book and minis in the mail!
unfortunately the minis were only shipped in those bags and no clam-packs so there are numerous tiny broken pieces that I'll have to fix before painting. But that's the joy of modeling.

Here is some more progress shots for the Ogres, I know it doesn't look like a whole lot, but the skin is very time consuming, the rest comes pretty fast

All that's left is painting the hands on the weapons then attaching them, a few more glazes on the skin here and there and some glazes on the stones.

Thanks guys, and Canny, it is a shame but it's nothing a little super glue and Apoxie Sculpt won't fix haha. Already fixed the Queen of Barbary's broken leg and broken axe.

Back from Adepticon/Crystal Brush sign in, here's some stuff from the swag bag:
Every bag has a Warmachine/Hordes starter box in them, all random. I, of course, got a Cygnar box which I already own. Two Flames of War paints, mine were Camo Beige and Ivory, a Stynylrez primer from Badger Airbrush, and we got to choose a mini rule book for either Warmachine, Hordes, Malifaux or some other game, I chose Warmachine.
A female commisar from Victoria Lamb Minis, a female fantasy character don't know who made it, and a Games & Gears synthetic brush size 0.
A sprue of Robotech minis, a Wargamers Illustrated magazine and a shit ton of coupons and advertisements. One of them I will be using is a 10% off coupon for the Scale 75 booth.

Thanks, Canny. After I handed them in they were easily the best fantasy squad in the cabinets. They were the also the only fantasy squad turned in at the time but that's neither here nor there...

Yeah, and the VIG people who paid only $50 more for their ticket got way more stuff, a t-shirt, a pint glass, a few more paints, a Scale 75 figure and a Dropzone Commander starter box among other things. Essentially a ticket to Adepticon is free.

Stopped by the Reaper booth and saw they had a "telephone box" mini from the Bones line. My girlfriend's little sister is Doctor Who obsessed and her birthday is next weekend so I had to get it and paint it for her.
