Definitely more Conan in his younger days, but still a nice looking piece. And I like the colours you've laid in for him so far - the stereotypical leather and fur can be a bit dull.

Nice work on the marine Andy ,looks great .
The Conan figure has definitely got the ZooLander pose and pout going on ,and what's with his abs .? .I've never seen abs like that before . .

Just finished conan the boy. Quite pleased for about five or so hours work been far to long since I painted a small fantasy figure.

Dont wory Mike I traded my six pack for the entire brewery!

Super fast! On the frontal pic the mini looks like swarchzenneger, on the rest nope because it looks much younger as some have commented.
Nice colours too cape contrasting with skin tones.

Naye, takes that long ogling the possibilities, then that long mulling the wine, n that long adding the spices.. but yeah in 20 hours I could paint a cape. I want this mini....ty A

Yeah it was nice to do a fantasy piece and that's what I'm going to stick to for a bit.

just built and started to paint a nice Andrea figure Dagor Ancient Fury. Also giving scale 75 another go using their black and white set.

That model is amazing. It is what the monkeys from Wizard of Oz should have looked like. The fur so far is absolutely incredible.

Cheers guys! This sculpt is so easy to paint undercutting the muscles for volume is straightforward. Also my two favourite surfaces flesh and metal plus the pose is so dynamic. Andrea did a superlative job on this one. Can't understand why there aren't more versions of this on the gallery.

scale 75 paints doing a great job on the greys totally converted, just got to remember don't mix them with gw paints I always get a nasty greasy medium when I do that. also it dries a fair bit darker than it goes on.
