10 years to the day that this released. 6.5 out of 10 was generous.

    Statuesque Adventurers

Started painting a few figures again and am actually enjoying it :) Anyway, these figures are superb. A joy to paint - bags of character without a web of pointless filigree-like detail over them. A rarity these days it seems... And a few other looseners:

    A-Wing

    Not particularly miniature!

    54mm SOB/Inquisitor

Something that has been lurking in the back of the half painted cupboard for nearly a decade:

Phlunky, Guardian of the Royal Spawn

I painted Ploogak years ago and have had wee Phlunky and this base sat ready for an undercoat ever since. Haven't painted much in years, so this was a bit of a loosener. Anyway, here he is with his king:

    BSG Mk VII Viper

Moebius Models 1/32 Mk VII Viper: Have started work on a studio scale McQuarrie concept X-Wing that is going to be a thing of beauty when it's done :)

    X-Wing overload

How do. I've been OD-ing on X-Wings recently. I knocked the Fine Molds X together first but wasn't happy with it after using decals ('cos I was too lazy/strapped for time to paint). Superb kit, but I didn't do it justice. Airbrush didn't touch this one - all done with pastels. Just finished...

    Buck's Thunderfighter and a Snowspeeder

These have been sat undercoated and gathering dust for about 6 months so I finished them off over Christmas. Both old and somewhat dated kits but they suffice with a bit of paint. Earth Directorate Thunderfighter by Scott.Symonds, on Flickr Earth Directorate Thunderfighter by Scott.Symonds...

    Fine Molds 1/72 Y-Wing

Not particularly happy with this one and gave up on it a bit half way through. Too small to be enjoyable but a superbly detailed kit :)

    Clone Wars Yoda

Found a box of cheap vinyl keyrings of Clone Wars characters that are surprisingly nice sculpts. Here's Yoda:

    I still paint...

...occasionally :) Moebius Models just released this fantastic MkII Viper kit from the new BSG series. Had one pre-ordered since last year and was hoping it would be to scale with the OS Viper I painted up last year. It is! Anyway, some pics:

    Colonial Viper

A submission to christen this revoltingly homogenised new forum. Did Stevie Wonder design the preset colour schemes? Anyway, managed to finally finish this:

    Cylon Raider

Have a pile of sci-fi kits to build for our kid\'s room. This is the first: Photos courtesy on my nice new (old) 1Ds :D Next up is a Colonial Viper... :)

Here\'s something I saw in the game shop the other week and impulse bought to repaint:

    Raise your glasses....

I think a drink to the memory of Tony Hart is in order. He made some of my favourite TV as a kid. And who could forget Morph....

    Size matters not....

A bit of a loosener after not painting for a while:

    Hasslefree Cyber-Zombie 2

Got my paints out and had a rummage through my box of prepped for painting stuff. Found two more Hasslefree Cyber-Zombies I\'d converted up yonks ago, so decided to paint one of them: LINK... And here he is with one I did a few years back: I\'ve got one more on the go. He\'s got a strange...
