Thanks all
Maenas - Thanks mate, yes he was looking a bit evil, it was the extreme highlights that I had to tone down. Ive been using a W&N series 7 size '2' for the whole bust.
For anyone trying out this type of pattern I have learned from the 20+ hours so far that the key (which I havent mastered

) is to get the lines a equal size in width (like they would be on real material) if they 'bulge' out in places thats when they start looking like painted lines.
*also*
Had a few people ask about the new scale75 flesh paints Ive used on the face.
My key points about them.
1. They take a bit of getting use to from GW or VMC.
2. Dont need as much watering down as the other brands
3. They have a sort of translutent effect which (after a bit of practice) makes for great blending.
4. Super matt finish.
5. The colours in the sets compliment each other brilliantly and havent just been thrown in without thought.
6. MOST IMPORTANT OF ALL - SHAKE, SHAKE AND SHAKE SOME MORE, and when you have shook that bottle shake it again!!!!!!!!!!!!
So to sum up, fantastic paint range but not for beginners imo.
