Started a freelancer Knight, a classic GW mini again. Had a bash on the shield using a design I saw from Mike Anderson Empire Knight he painted for GDUK a few years back. Not a complicated design like Milosh is painting but seeing i'm terrible at freehand pleased with the design and
I think it fits with the character of the mini.

nice work sir. Do you still plan to highlite and shadow it like a painting or just as an emblem?

There are a few grey highlights on that I will add to, also the red eyes need brightening but it will stay simple as an emblem. The shield is 9mm high so I don't want to clutter things also (thats my excuse LOL)

Finished shield and nearly done face. This is a great sculpt.

@ Will - the browns on the shield are vallejo burnt umber great colour for wash / shade, not so good for foundation colouring.

Looks really nice man, liking the face. The only bit that I would personally adjust is the deep crease under his right eye, I personally think its a little too dark atm could use a few glazes of the original skin base that you used.
