Cheers all
@RMA - Baileys spot on, the scale is 54mm but she's over that.
@ Blood - Yep its a mystery to me about the jungle squad. Its just one of those things I suppose. Its didnt make the finals and salute nor GD. I didnt even bother to take it to the Euro.
Skele & I were talking about it at GD, we think the base overpowers the minis and at first glance makes them look scrappy. I got a feeling if they were on a plain base they might of done a little better? I was starting to question my painting

I expressed my views to Andy, Sproket and a few others about this and that maybe my photos were somehow burning out the painting making them look 'cleaner' / sharper on screen than in irl.
Andy knows how frustrated I was getting and in some ways GD was a real test for me to see if my painting was on par with some of the feedback I was getting on line. All the minis I entered (with the exception of the dreaded jungle squad) hadnt been entered in any other comps so it was a fresh start. Sooooooo with 3 finalists and a bronze demon it has really gave me the boost I was needing.
But it still begs the question, how can the same painter in the same year paint two minis one thats crashes n burns and one the wins but they are painted to the same abilitiy?
A question Sproket has asked himself after Euro, with one mini getting a bronze (which at the Euro is a real hard achivement) and the other not even a commendation????? Its must go down to personal preferences thats all I can think of.
All I know is that blasted squad has been put in a dark box
