Thanks all :)
Saint T glad your joining in mate.
This mini is great fun to paint and also challenge to paint as there are so many great versions out there of Slambo.
Really been pushing my NMM keeping the balance between it looking like metal but also still a cartoon fantasy piece that i like painting.

More WIP.

Nice choice of glazing on there pall. Definitely adds to the magical aspect of the piece. Could almost be a tzentch warrior. Glad to see the skull properly centred.

Awesome job! Not only does it look like steel, it looks like it is glowing with the addition of the blue tint.

Cool version that fits your style. I really like when you guys paint the same mini. It is so cool to see awesome in different styles.

Slambo slamdown

Makes me wish I'd picked one up and joined in now...

its a great idea for a future forum project though, encouraging a group to paint the same mini at the same time to see the massive variety in approach and techniques.

Anyway 10....loving the almost spectral glow you have going on on this and the NMM is excellent as always. Enjoying watching you and Andy go at this in your own distinctive ways....looking forward to Toads input as well.

Would be an excellent idea over summer I think. Give people a bit of time to clear their backlog and prep for a model. Might be something to look into.

Still think the axe heads could use some more work Ten! ;)
