Wow, that's probably the most inventive base I've seen on the site. Awesome. Maybe add some other colours into the ghosties as they're a bit uniform in colour at the moment, but it's going to look great.

Love the base idea Flu ,,,,,, buuuut wouldn't the iron hands only use iron for everything including flooring ,something like cheque plate instead of bricks.?

dazzler: I get what you're saying, I added in a little Crystal Blue and Burgundy Wine, hopefully that helps break up the monotony a little. I still want the overall feeling to be a glowing green, but not wash out all the details.
Terra: I'm pretty sure Emperor's Children didn't have demon guys fighting for them so I'm already going against fluff a bit, we can always pretend that the bricks are made of metal. Plus I have a big bag of bricks and nothing for metal flooring, so there's that lol. Some diamond plate would've been cool though, I should look around for future projects.
Ter: I think someone's been spiking my morning coffee! Now keep in mind it be truly floating like that cool electromagnet Eldar vehicle base. That would be crazy.

Glad you enjoy it oist, with a dropped jaw you'll fit right in with those tormented souls! Okay, I should be asleep but instead of that noise I painted through the tiredness.
A fair bit of mistakes in there, but instead of fixing them I'll just put some dry pigments and blood splatter over them. A guy's going to be standing on top of it anyway, who's going to notice?

I came home from a way too long family obligation "vacation" and see a package waiting for me. Lo and behold, it's my Black Sailors kickstarter pledge!
I have a bunch of Crystal Brush projects I need to start so I won't get to these anytime soon. There was also a second random free figure in my package and I have no idea where it's from, or if any of you guys got the same thing. I checked all media outlets for Big Child Creatives, Black Sailors and Legion of the Cow who handled the kickstarter, I couldn't find this figure anywhere, anyone know what it is?
It also comes with a non-helmeted human head.
edit: Well nevermind that last bit. I should've actually read the letter that came with the package. It's a 32mm sculpt by Joaquin Palacios given to everyone as a thank you for patience for the delays. That was really cool of them, I'll keep supporting these guys.
