A word about Ilyad Miniatures......

I\'m not sure how the rates differ from overseas, but it was definitely cheaper for me to buy from GQ.

EDIT: Oh, and Peter... voted and commented! :)

As I said, GQ had a quick delivery - ordered Monday, delivered Wednesday in the UK. Cost - cheaper than Starplayer. But I ordered from SP because I knew of the issues following GQ\'s takeover. But no problems whatsoever - I\'d have ordered from them for everything had I known.

Pete; a great piece you\'ve done - and now the base makes sense as it\'s going to have more on it! Even a great miniature requires a good paintjob to get the most from it and you\'ve done it proud!!! Nice one!

I\'m a fan of the Reaper minis, but have found the ocasional warcraft mini at our \"local\" gameshop that interests me. I\'ve found so much from Reaper that I like I\'m afraid to look around at other manufacturers because if I find any more minis to spend money on I might go bankrupt! I might check these out anyway. Shipping to the states might be enough to deter me.

Shipping from StarPlayer is not too bad, since you save 20% on the order cost by not paying VAT. Just make a big order and that saving pays for shipping, that\'s what I tell my wife :D. But of course, with the US dollar now not quite worth the paper it\'s printed on, it could still be a bit expensive.

Just wanted to join in with the praise for the quality of Ilyad models. You have to see them in the flesh to believe the details.

I currently have these two bad boys on my paint table.....

Kinda daunting really, but I\'m itching to get them done.... :D

Ooohhh! Those two are definitely on my wish list!! A bit pricey, but I\'ll probably get them at some point. At least the large minotaur-thingey... Mmmmmm minotaurs! :D

Yeah minotaurs.....I love \'em but couldn\'t eat a whole one.... ;)

(Possibly Ms Knightly would struggle a bit..???.)
