@Steelcult: True, I\'m not arguing against that. But on the other hand what would total freedom of speach lead to? Say what would the Phelps do? The line to be drawn is difficult and should perhaps be guided by some kind of common sense (hehe) and not by how much money you can get by suing? I think that is the real issue here. I say 99.9% of people agree that this is stupid. But still that .1% might try to get some money from their offence?
@ninjawizard: Ah. but if your Sylar what kind of info/talent do you want from their brains? lol
Bottom line: My opinion matters as much as anyone else\'s. We all get one vote.Originally posted by Avelorn
@Airhead:
Are you willing of giving up some freedom and rights for security?
No. Never surrender a right. As soon as you do, it will never come back.
Say harsher methods of interrogation and more privacy-intruding monitoring systems? Alleged to prevent terrorism.
my opionion of the prisoners in Gitmo are that they should be treated according to the Geneva Convention. Ask me off-line and I will tell you my full opinion there.
Are you willing to give up some gun-rights to keep down the level of guns on the street etc. Alleged to prevent lethal violence.
No. Never surrender a right. As soon as you do, it will never come back. Gun owners should be held accountable for the security of their weapons, but that does not prevent robbery.
