It's battle damage honest! Anyway some more pics not sure about the first company design on his right shoulder pad.

Skull with purity seal on the mouth does look a bit weird. Why not just move the skull up a bit to clear the seal? I love the wings and blood drop!

ah mate the fact that the shoulder pads both have the same "battle damage" both front and back on the same spots is kind of suspicious. like lee i also suggest

nice start of the freehand although Demihuman have a point about the skull. too bad the purity seal is centered on the shoulder pad like that.

The tear drop and wings looks spot on, the skull really needs moving as already suggested and has a conny conehead feel at the moment

yeah gonna get rid I think. the reason he is coney the cone head is this

the first squad emblem is coney the cone head (first squad id a load of assault veterans). Frankly though I think im just going to replace it with the four arrow cross thing that denotes assault squad that way there is a gap at the bottom to have the purity seal and it doest look like someone has taped up his mouth!

When you can see the mouth part it fits, so you had it right as blood angels don't use the cross symbol

Here's the blood angels ones the right hand panel is the shoulder pad designs to look at, the squad badges are on their right knee. Hope this helps

The damage stays!!! can't be bothered right now plus the back bits will get covered by the jet pack.

done some more got the chainsword finished and moving onto the other bits and bobs hopefully jet pack soon.
