Ok it really knocked it out of me doing the last space marine so had a little break. Back to the grindstone with the next one here we go.

Incomplete highlite needs knocking back a bit

Right. Looks like you are treating it, correctly, like a cylinder and so providing a highlight that goes north and south. Interesting tutorial by Ben Komets where he explains this and shows how you should often have 2-3 highlight lines like this on a cylindrical object. One should always be the horizon line, almost like you were doing SENMM. Treated like this, though, would mean you should have your darkest shade right next to your lightest highlight, just as you would with SENMM but just not actually painting the ground and the sky.

I like bens stuff very good work from him and I definately agree with the lines on a cylinder.

Anyway milliputed the damage on the shoulders. And painted the rest of the legs

Same high standard. Good work.

Kinda bummed. Love seeing you pump out fresh minis. Especially cuz your mini choice is always so good. While squads are awesome to look at when complete, they can get kinda yawn-worthy, eh?

BTW- Went looking for that 6th Anniversary LE Axenarf, cuz I wanted to use him as a TMM training miniature. Looks like they're gone :(

Yeah feels like that sometimes. As I'm doing this I keep going back to the first one and changing bits of it as I see that the paint job needs working on so very slow progress at the moment anyway some more pics.
