Looks great! Yeah, you've made excellent use of the Sproket approach. I just started on a knight, not Slambo, and it makes me wonder about giving that approach a try with TMM. I might have to experiment a bit.

Oh, and Foxtail is right. Where is your off-center skull? (Sorry, 10 :tongue:)

Looking great, Andy. Are you 'dotty painting' in pure greyscale and then glazing brown into the shadows afterward or are you incorporating any color into your dots?

Every colour is dotted so to start pure grey scale all the way up to almost pure white and then dot in a bit of diluted black and then dot in brown very thinned down into the shadows as well

Gold always believe in your soul your indestructible ooohh ....oooops '80's flashback there then! Done some gold detailing.

Holy... I can't even imagine the amount of patience needed to do something like this. The pay off is definitely working out though, that's beautiful!

Cheers guys. The boots for later thinking to keep them reasonably simple so something like black leather. Done some more work on the axe heads and the gold trim. I can see a slight bit of gold bleed into the shoulder guard that needs sorting and the right facing axe head needs a bit more work. Horns are going to be very like the box art. The base I have been inspired by a recent submission by we7 over on P&P.

Looks pretty stunning Andy...the little super subtle touches of brown added into the mix make a huge difference for me.

Looking forward to seeing your basing ideas if you are referring to that jawdropping monochrome piece we7 has recently been posting on instagram etc.

Er somehow during my time at work paint has just magically appeared on my mini?!? Anyway the painting fairies have finished the axes and mostly done the horns I will have to put out some milk for them:)
