AndyG WIP (pic heavy)

Andy, fancy sharing our secrets with the Americans, what do they do for us? ........
Well apart from they are close military allies enjoying the Special Relationship built as wartime allies, and NATO partners.

and the two nations are bound together by shared history, an overlap in religion and a common language and legal system, and kinship ties that reach back hundreds of years, including kindred, ancestral lines....... oh :)

Well apart from

How about the Marshall Plan? Your welcome! :)

Seriously, I feel closest to you fellers over there in GB. An attack on our British allies is an attack against us...and I will write that oath in blood...

That said, thanks for the tutorial....hehehe. Andy, you are truly mastering those glints, stepping up the NMM to heretofore unseen levels.

To celebrate all that the US of A has done for Europe, I'll have a burger for lunch today. :)

Great shiny red, also.

Very nice mate, I would be tempted to go very very slighty more orange before the final streak of white on the highlights.
Best reds ive seen from you mucka.

On a side note, Donna says you owe us half for a new mattress (seeing you use it) - got new one on the weekend - GOOD QUALITY memory foam !!!! lol :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
She worries about your back mate.

Cheers lads! Yep bit more glazing of orange and midtone red to be done especially on the glints on the arms it is a bit extreme only noticed when photo taken will only take a moment to correct.

Got to to do the jet pack and then that's the red done and on to the gold.

Andy thanks so much for that link to Glazed One's finished products. He tends to paint a lot like me, in theory anyway-obviously he is a master. What I mean by that is that his recipes closely match some of my own, and his processes are similar. However, I learned a ton of things I had questions to recently just by reading through his thread. Definitely going to use his silver armor recipe that he uses on the elf below the Blood Angel you linked to. Excited to try this stuff out!!!

I'm with 10 - he needs some orange (maybe a light glaze on the higher parts) for some warmth. the red is a bit cool and leaning more towards Flesh Tearer crimson than Blood Angel red. Still unbelievable though ;)

very nice mate. still needs a bit more mid tone between the dark and light in places, eg back of hands, fingers

That gold will make the red even more brilliant. Agree it could use maybe a bit more mid tone but also maybe a bit more of that second to last level of highlighted brightness. But again the overal gradient is spot on.

Bit more done. The scratches on the helmet are going to be toned down on the black gonna be more a dark brown instead.

Looks nice but I think I see a big mold line... just kidding! :)

Love that red. Your gold is as always off the charts. I think the helmet scratches on his right side look great.

Edit: Left side of teh helmet scratches. right one looks a tiny bit heavy.
