Hayden\'s a bit of a grumpy old bastard - he didn\'t want to stay out there and make a dick of himself... They really should have stopped the match at the end of England\'s innings though...

Regardless of how it all ended it was still a great series...

I don\'t think I\'ve ever seen such a display of good sportsmanship in any sporting code at this level. This is how sport should be played, good stuff!:)

Nice that Si got a mention from Athers, but overall, what a series. I still think that Warne might have sneaked man of the series minnd you. Incredible player.

Yeah, I think this was one occasion where the recipient didn\'t need to be from the winning team... I won\'t complain too much about Freddy winning it though... I agree about Simon Jones too - IMO he was Englands #1 bowler in the matches he played.

Bugger.

At least we know the better team won.

Congratulations to England and all her supporters.

Flintoff deserved man or the series. He broke us several times. Warne only kept us in it.

Warney got the \'dropped catch of the series\' award though!!

Hoohoo! Bet he\'s gutted over that one - it would REALLY have tipped that match on its head!

We watched the last of it with Michael Kasprowicz\'s father-in-law. Had a pint in a pub next to Sophia Gardens where Glamorgan try to play cricket, and he was there with his wife and Michael\'s daughter. Damned fine guy he was.
